“Basement Tapes”: stylized group portraits of artists and musicians that work together in Brooklyn. A collaborative photo project with photographer Jerome Corpuz.
“Me & Bill” is designed by
Carrie Ashley, a Texan based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with roots in Chamonix,
France and Bozeman, Montana. Carrie hand-embroiders the collection’s
vintage, chambray denim shirts, wall pieces and pillows with Native-American
imagery, gothic script, illustrations of 1960’s Americana and the
occasional gold tooth. The result is a combination of Cherokee heritage,
flea markets and New England boarding school. Select pieces available spring
2010 at Agnes B and direct from the designer.

Draw A Line Across the Land, documentaire, photographs. Carrie Ashley and photographer Antoine Jaccoux drew a line across the United States and traveled by car from December 14, 2009 through July 8, 2010.
